Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged consumers to embrace digital transactions and join the movement to end corruption and black money.
In his message on World Consumer Rights Day, Mr Modi in a series of tweets said, Government of India is at the forefront of several initiatives that protect the rights of the consumers and ensure their grievances are solved.
He said, on World Consumer Rights Day, the Government salutes the consumers on whose purchasing power the growth of the country’s economy rests.
