Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday unveiled the Bhagwad Gita prepared by ISKCON Temple devotees in New Delhi on the occasion of Gita Aradhana Mahotsav.

Measuring over 2.8 meters and weighing more than 800 kilogram, the Bhagwad Gita is one of its kind in the world. It has the original verses of the Bhagwad Gita along with commentary.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Modi said Bhagwad Gita is the most inspiring gift to the world by India and is relevant from thousands of years. He said the Gita teaches the lesson of harmony and brotherhood. Mr Modi said the solution to every problem of life is found in the Gita.

Earlier, Mr Modi took a metro ride from Khan Market to reach the ISKCON Temple in the capital.
