Prime Minister Narendra Modi today lauded the Marathi community of Nigeria for being connected to their culture and roots. The Indian community in Nigeria extended a warm and vibrant welcome to Prime Minister Modi when he reached Abuja last night. In a social media post, Mr Modi said the Marathi community in Nigeria expressed joy on Marathi language being conferred the Classical language status.
