Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the Tokyo Olympics Indian contingent to visit 75 schools by 15th August 2023.

He also requested them to spend an hour with the students at these schools and create awareness about malnutrition and inspire them for sports.

Prime Minister has shared the video of his interaction with Olympic-returned Indian athletes.

During the interaction, women’s hockey team thanked Prime Minister for encouraging phone call after Olympic loss.

Mr Modi offered ice cream to Tokyo Olympics medal winner P V Sindhu.

When the Prime Minister spoke to Ms Sindhu before Olympic games, he had told that they will eat ice cream together after her return from Tokyo.

Interacting with boxer Mary Kom, Mr Modi said, she has given a huge contribution to sports and done a lot for the country.

Prime Minister met the Indian Olympics Contingent for a breakfast at his residence on Monday.

On Independence Day, he praised the athletes for their stellar performance in the Olympic Games from the Red Fort.
