Prime Minister Narendra Modi today intercted with DGPs and IGPs from across the country at Kevadia colony of Narmada district in Gujarat.

DGPs conference is an annual event in which top police officers from all over the country share and discuss security-related issues. Union Home minister Rarjnath Singh had inaugurated the conference on Thursday.

The venue for the conference is a Tent city set up nearer to the statue of unity. The Prime Minister arrived in Gujarat today on a two-day visit to the state.

Militancy in Jammu and Kashmir, cross-border terrorism and attempts to radicalise youth are top the agenda of the conference.
