Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various rail and road projects worth over 11 thousand crore rupees in Telengana. He said these projects will bring in ‘Ease of Travel,’ ‘Ease of Living’ as well as ‘Ease of Doing Business’ in Telangana and benefit the people of the state. The Prime Minister also dedicated the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar electrification and doubling project to the nation on the occasion.

PM reiterated the Government’s commitment to realise the dreams of the people of Telangana. He cautioned against the corrupt forces in society and against those who practice family rule and believe in dynasties.

He stated that Sab Ka Saat, Sab ka Vikas, Sab Ka Viswas and Sab ka Prayas are the moto of the Union Government and that its implementation alone will fulfil the dream of true democracy as envisioned by Dr B R Ambedkar.

The Prime Minister dedicated the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar electrification and doubling project to the nation on the occasion.

The re-development of Secunderabad railway station at a cost of about 715 crore rupees, 13 new MMTS services, and 6 national highway stretches and construction works of AIIMS Bibinagar are among the projects which the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone on the occasion.

Earlier, the Prime Minister flagged off the prestigious Vande Bharat Express train from Secunderabad to Tirupati at Secunderabad Railway Station. This is the second Vande Bharat train for the two Telugu States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

He interacted with students and loco pilots and shared their joy. The train stops at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole, and Nellore and will reduce the travelling time to 8 hrs 30 minutes from over 11 hours earlier.

Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, and Railway Minister Aswani Vaishnav Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy were also present at the events.
