modi kashmirPrime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated BJP leaders and party workers on the occasion of party’s foundation day and said it was a matter of “pride” that all sections of the country have reposed faith in the saffron party.

“On the Sthapana Diwas of @BJP4India, I congratulate the entire family of BJP Karyakartas working across the length and breadth of India,” Prime Minister wrote in a series of tweets.

He further wrote: “It is a matter of pride that people across India & across all sections of society have placed their trust in BJP. Gratitude to the people”. In another missive in the micro blogging site, Mr Modi said, “We recall with pride the hard work of generations of BJP ‘Karyakartas’ who built the Party brick by brick with the endeavour to serve society. In his tweet, BJP chief Amit Shah said the party has rededicated itself in the service of the nation for last 37 years. “A small sampling nurtured with good intent and ideological foundations have come due to hard work of party workers.

I bow down before our workers,” he said in another tweet. The BJP was founded in 1980 with Atal Behari Vajpayee as its first president.
