Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Integrated Command and Control Centre set up at Naya Raipur in Chhattisgarh. The centre will control and monitor online water and power supply, sanitation, traffic movement, integrated building management, city connectivity and Internet infrastructure, under one roof. The monitoring of Naya Raipur city will also be carried out from the facility.
Prime Minister also dedicated a modernized and expanded unit of the Bhilai steel plant to the nation. He also laid the foundation stone for the new building of IIT Bhilai, besides, launching the second phase of Bharat Net project. He addressed a public meeting at Bhilai.
Air services between Raipur and Jagdalpur was also inaugurated by the Prime Minister during his day long visit to Chhattisgarh. With the commencement of this service, Maoist affected tribal Bastar region has come on country’s aviation map. The air services from Raipur and Jagdalpur has been launched under centre’s UDAAN scheme.
After dedicating multiple projects to the nation in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Modi is currently addressing a public meeting. Mr Modi said, all these scheme will lead to employment and education in the state. Mr Modi said, projects worth more than 22,000 crore rupees will add a new chapter to the development of the state.
