Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured all support to flood affected Assam from the Centre in relief and rescue efforts. Mr Modi today spoke to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal regarding flood situation in the state.
Nearly four lakh people have been affected in 16 districts in floods in the state. 20 thousand people are taking shelter at relief camps as flood water inundated their houses.
