Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have applauded the close cooperation between two countries. Both leaders also condemned terrorism in all forms.
During their bilateral meeting in Riyadh here the two leaders expressed satisfaction on bilateral relations saying that India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council will further strengthen partnership in all area including in defence, politics and people to people contact.
Briefing media here, Secretary (Economic Relations) in the External Affairs Ministry, T S Tirumurti said, during the meeting, the King lauded India’s achievements in various fields saying the country has earned respects across the world.
Saudi King also congratulated Prime Minister Modi on his consecutive election victory.
Mr. Tirumurti informed that several agreements will be signed between the two countries after delegation-level talks tonight. He said the areas in which pacts will be inked include defence, industrial collaboration, security cooperation, civil aviation, renewable energy and medical products.
