Summit to explore investment opportunities

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that Government took several measures for the ease of doing business in the country. Inaugurating the maiden Uttarakhand Investors Summit here Prime Minister said, the country is going through a phase of massive change. He said, his government has reformed the tax system in the country making it more swift & transparent.
The Prime Minister said, doing business has become easier due to Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code and the banking system has also got strengthened in the country. He further added that fiscal deficit has been reduced in the country.
The Prime Minister said that Government it is moving ahead in a modernisation of 400 railway stations and construction of 100 New Airports and helipads. He said, Ayushman Bharat Yojana offers huge investment opportunities in the medical sector.
Mr Modi said India is on top as far as food processing is concerned. He appealed to all for increasing Investment in Agriculture.
Prime Minister said India is moving ahead in direction of becoming world leader in renewable energy. He said by 2030 our 40% energy will be from non-fossil fuel and by 2022 175 gw of Green Energy Will be generated. He said our Mantra is One World, One Sun and One Grid.

Leading industrial houses are participating in the two-day event which aims to explore investment opportunities in the state.
Apart from Indian investors, those from Japan, Czech Republic, Argentina, Mauritius and Nepal have also been invited to participate.
State Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat told media persons that during the run up to the event, investment proposals worth over 70 thousand crore rupees have already been received.
Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, KJ Alphons and CR Chaudhary will also participate in the sessions on different subjects.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh will address the event on the concluding day tomorrow.
Speaking on Uttarakhand the Prime Minister said now in Uttarakhand any MSME loan upto 1 crore will be sanctioned fast.
Prime Minister said Tourism in Uttarakhand has now got an industry status. He said 13 Districts in the state have been developed as New Destination.
The Prime Minister also said Uttarakhand has all the potential to become Organic State. Mr Modi introduced a new meaning to SEZ, that is Spiritual EcoZone and said Uttarakhand Government should focus in this Sector.
