In his felicitation message to the new Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said that peaceful Nepal is important for the security and prosperity of the region.
Extending invitation to the new Prime Minister of the Himalayan state to visit India, Dr. Singh said, he is looking forward to work with him to strengthen and deepen the close civilizational and fraternity between India and Nepal. Dr Singh wished him success in the task of consolidating the democratic gains made by the people of Nepal.
