PM CARES fund to collect donations for fight against COVID-19, is witnessing overwhelming support from the countrymen. In line with many organisations and celebrities, Airports Authority of India, AAI employees have raised Rs 20 crore as an initial contribution to the PM-CARES Funds to fight the menace of COVID-19.
Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has decided to contribute Rs 21 lakh from all employees who have voluntarily come forward to donate their salaries. Group ‘A’ employees have donated two-day salary and Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ employees have donated one day salary to PM CARES fund.
IAS Association, Motilal Oswal Limited, actors Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan and cricketer Suresh Raina have also contributed to the fund.
Many citizens are generously donating to this fund which was launched yesterday to support the government efforts in fight against novel Coronavirus spread.
