Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today said that people will have to take responsibility to win over the battle against novel coronavirus in the state.
Addressing the people of the state through video conferencing, he said people should cooperate with the teams that will visit each households in the state to conduct health checkups by providing them correct information.
Speaking about the month long mission called ‘My family, My responsibility,’ that will commence from 15th of this month, he said, the programme will be on the lines of “chase the virus” that was implemented in Mumbai. He said the state’s population is 12 crore and hence exhorted the local public representatives to participate and cooperate with the health teams so that as many household can be covered. Thackeray further said that people should continue to wear mask and strictly adhere to Covid protocols when they step out of their home.
