Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said there should be a constructive discussion on all issues in Parliament despite differences over certain issues.
The appeal was made by the Prime Minister during an all-party meeting called by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar ahead of the Budget session of Parliament, beginning tomorrow.
Addressing reporters here, Mr Ananth Kumar said during the all-party meeting, the PM, calling Parliament as a ‘Mahapanchayat’ of the country, said the government was ready for a discussion on all issues.
The PM said all parties should put across their views in Parliament so that the MPs benefit from their experience.
He said the political parties may have differences during election time but despite all these, discussion should be held so that the dignity of Democracy could be maintaine.
