The Budget session of the Punjab assembly was adjourned for the day today after it witnessed pandemonium over the farmers’ debt issue.
Opposition created ruckus in the house as the Akali-BJP MLAs raised slogans in the house demanding waiver of farm loans and tried to create ruckus in the house, when speaker Rana K P announced the question hour.
Akali Dal and BJP MLAs walked out of the house as protest for not allowing them to raise the issue of Farm loans before the question hour. Later, MLA of Lok Insaaf Party Simarjit Singh Bains was suspended by the speaker from the house for rest period of the current session.
