Haryana Vigilance department today registered a FIR against former Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda and three others in Panchkula Industrial Plot case on orders of Chief Minister Manohar Lal.
Haryana government has also recommended CBI inquiry into the case.
The three others, against whom the case has been registered are former Chief Administrator of Haryana Urban Development Authority DPS Nagal,former Chief Finance Officer SC Kansal and another former officer of HUDA B B Taneja.
Chief Minister Manohar lal has said that there were allegations of nepotism and favoritism and cheating in the allotment of 14 industrial plots by HUDA in Panchkula.
In the vigilance inquiry the allegations were found true. The plots were allotted to relatives and nears and dears of CM and HUDA officers.
CM also said that the action has been taken as per law and there is no political vendetta as alleged by some congress leaders.
