India has said Pakistan has no locus standi in addressing any aspect of the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, which is an internal matter of India.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said this in New Delhi while responding to a question on letters written by Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to UN Secretary General and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
He said India is in touch with important interlocutors bilaterally as well as multilaterally to put across the correct picture. Mr Swarup made it clear that such letters do not whitewash cross border terrorism.
