In yet another incident of ceasefire violation, Pakistani forces today resorted to heavy firing and shelling in Rajauri District along the line of control in Jammu and Kashmir.
Defence sources said, the Pakistani forces started unprovoked firing and shelling on Indian positions and civilian areas in Naushera sector around 5 AM. The troops guarding the border, retaliated the firing and the exchange of fire lasted up till 8 AM. There is no report of any casualty or injury to the Indian side.
Incident happened after a week-long lull, that Pakistani troops again violated the ceasefire along LoC today.
There have been over 25 ceasefire violations along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir after surgical strikes by Army troops in PoK to dismantle terror launching pads.
