At least five people, including a policeman, were killed and 14 others injured in an explosion in Quetta Pakistan. Rescue officials said the injured have been admitted to Quetta’s Civil Hospital. Of the injured, at least four are said to be in critical condition, said the Rescue officials.

Police said the blast occurred near the Shuhada Chowk on Gulistan Road, opposite the police chief’s office. The area falls under a high security zone, with offices of senior police officials and Police Lines. Security forces have cordoned off the area. The nature of the blast has not been ascertained yet.
