At least 16 people were killed and over 22 others injured in two separate road accidents in Pakistan on Monday. Pakistan’s National Highways and Motorway Police officials said, 10 people were killed and over seven others injured when a passenger bus lost control and overturned on the motorway in Attock district, Punjab province. In another accident, earlier in the morning today, a passenger van and trailer collided with each other in Naushahro Feroze district of the country’s southern Sindh province, leaving six people dead and 15 others wounded. According to reports, the accident took place in Kartarpur town of the district due to the overspeeding of the truck.
