Pak Army today started unprovoked firing with small arms followed by heavy mortar shelling along the Line of Control in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district.
Public Relations Officer of Ministry of Defence said that at about 0730 hours this morning, in yet another ceasefire violation, Pak Army intiated unprovoked by firing with small arms followed by heavy mortar shelling in Sunderbani sector.
Indian Army troops gaurding the fence are retaliating befittingly with equal caliber. The exchange of fire was continuing when reports last came in. The PRO further said that there are no reports of loss of any life and demage to any property from the Indian side.
Earlier, Pak Army also violated ceasefire along the LoC in Gulpur sector of Poonch district last evening at about 1900 hours by firing with small arms and heavy shelling with mortars. Indian Army troops retaliated befittingly with equal caliber.
