India defeated England by 157 runs. Chasing a victory target of 368 runs, hosts were bundled out for 210 in their second innings on the fifth and final day of the fourth Test at Oval in London.

For India, Umesh Yadav scalped three wickets and Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur took two each.

With this win, India has taken a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.

Earlier, India were all out for 466 in their second innings, taking a lead of 367 runs. Rohit Sharma with 127 runs was the top scorer in the second innings.

India – 191 and 466

England – 290 and 210

The fifth and final test will be played from 10th of this month at Old Trafford, Manchester.
