Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday ruled out any possibility of cross voting by party leaders of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the forthcoming presidential elections. Patnaik’s statement came after his meeting with Ram Nath Kovind, NDA’s presidential candidate at Bhubaneswar on Friday afternoon.
During his one-day tour to Bhubaneswar, Ram Nath Kovind met BJD MPs and MLAs and addressed them at the conference hall of the Odisha Assembly. He thanked the full fledged support of the BJD led by Naveen Patnaik. Mr. Kovind later met BJP MLAs at BJP legislature party leader KV Singh Deo’s residence in Bhubaneswar.
