President Obama will address the members of parliament and other special invitees in the central hall at 1738 hrs. The us president will arrive in parliament house at 1725 hrs, will be received by the vice-president of india mohd. hamid ansari; prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh; Speaker Lok Sabha, Meira Kumar; Union Minister Of Parliamentary Affairs and Water Resources, Pawan Kumar Bansal and the Secretaries-General of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, T.K Viswanathan and Dr. V. K. Agnihotri, respectively.
While the Vice-President of India will deliver the welcome address, the Speaker, Lok Sabha, will propose the vote of thanks.
