JD (U) President and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar assured RJD legislators that there is no rift in the grand alliance of RJD, JD(U) and Congress despite his different stand on demonetisation.
Sources said, during a meeting with party legislators last evening, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad called the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence. During the meeting with RJD legislators Nitish Kumar explained his stand on demonetisation.
The Chief Minister also said that he would soon call a meeting of all the ministers on different issues raised during meeting. After the meeting, senior RJD leader and state finance minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui said, there is no rift in the grand alliance and the Chief Minister made it clear during the meeting.
