National Investigation Agency, NIA, team today carried out fresh raids in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district in connection with a militancy funding case.

NIA sources said the NIA sleuths accompanied by police and CRPF conducted searches at various locations including a few residential houses belonging to four traders.

The owners of these houses were dealing in cross-LoC trade which stands stalled after the Centre banned it after the 14th February Pulwama terror attack.

Earlier, NIA had carried out raids in parts of Kashmir Valley in connection with the terror funding case registered by the Central probe agency.

Several separatist leaders and some businessmen have been arrested by the NIA and most of them are lodged at Tihar Jail in Delhi.
