Eighteen people onboard have died in the 9 N-AME flight of Saurya Airlines crashed while departing from Kathmandu to Pokhara this morning. While taking off, it fell into a ditch in the east of the ‘runway’ of the Tribhuvan International Airport and crashed to catch fire immediately. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, 18 people of 19 on board died. It said, bodies were taken to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH). The flight captain Manish Ratna Shakya who was rescued is currently receiving treatment at KMC Hospital at Sinamangal.
