Congress party today accused the NDA government for indulging in a misinformation campaign on the IT case involving National Herald. The party said the government agencies were engaging in incomplete and distorted information, possibly bordering on the contempt of court.
Talking to reporters here, AICC Spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said the government campaign showed the government fear, insecurity, and vindictive approach.
‘The amount of misinformation going on with regards to Young Indian/National Herald, makes me wonder does the government have anything better to do in this country than to circulate unsigned notes, which are actually campaigns of misinformation and distortion. ‘We have one such note.
