North Korean and Russian ministers met to look at ways to boost trade and economic cooperation. One of the key projects they discussed is a road bridge across the Tuman River which also serves as their border.
There’s currently a rail bridge, but no way for cars to get across.
The Russian minister said his government is getting set to begin the project.
The North Korean minister added that they plan to set up a bilateral trade hub in Vladivostok.
Officials also agreed to cooperate on tourism.
The meeting comes as Pyongyang tries to bolster ties with relatively friendly countries amid severe UN sanctions regime.
