Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the NDA government is for the poor of the country and in its two year rule it has provided transparent and accountable governance.

Addressing a mega rally in Saharanpur on the second anniversary of NDA government, Mr. Modi said he has gone there to give a report card of his government’s performance. He said the country has seen NDA government work in the last two years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the retirement age for government doctors will be increased from the current retirement age to 65 years.

Addressing a rally in Saharanpur to launch the celebrations for the second anniversary for the NDA government, Mr. Modi said the country is facing a huge shortage of doctors.

Since it was impossible to create a doctor in two years, the government was going for another option. Prime Minister said, that the retirement age for government doctors, which is 60 or 62 in some places, will be made 65 all over the country.

Union Ministers Rajanth Singh and Sanjiv Balyan besides senior BJP leaders are attending the rally. Earlier, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh addressed a rally in Saharanpur, highlighting two years of NDA Government at Centre.

Rajnath Singh in his opening remarks said that this Government is accountable and this is why they have come in public with their report card.

Mr. Singh also said that Prime Minister feels for the farmers and that is why he has introduced a lot of benefit schemes for the farmers.

Rajnath Singh also poured scathing remarks on Congress saying it has now been limited to North Hilly regions of the country only.
