Talking to media outside the Parliament Mrs Natrajan said that her Ministry has ordered the local Pollution Control Board to take the samples of the affected area.
She said that the Government has directed the Coast Guards to disperse the aero salt in order to remove the silt over the sea waters. The Minister however cautioned the fisherman to stay away from the affected area for some days.
