In a regularly changing political scenario in Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav has termed all the resolutions passed in the emergent convention called by Prof Ram Gopal Yadav earlier today as unconstitutional and illegal. In a statement Mulayam condemned the move, saying, some persons, due to threat of CBI probe, have connived with BJP and are trying to damage the party. Mulayam has also expelled Ram Gopal for the second time in last three days for six years.
Mulayam Singh has called a party emergency national convention on 5th January to clear the air among common people. He also said that some persons are continuously humiliating the party founder who has put great toil to erect the party? from scratch.
Senior party leader and MP Naresh Agrawal has said that Amar Singh is a BJP agent. Kiran Moy Nanda, another close ally of Mulayam Singh also supported Akhilesh Yadav saying now Netaji Mulayam Singh must accept the reality that public wants leadership in the hands of Akhilesh Yadav. He said that every worker of Samajwadi Party heartfully respects Mulayam Singh but we can not let the forthcoming election to be put to the risk.
Meanwhile, security has been taken back from Ashu Malik MLC, another close ally of Mulayam Singh. Tight security is in place around the residence of Shivpal Singh Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav, state party HQs and CM Akhilesh Yadav.
Akhilesh Yadav also appointed’ Naresh Uttam as Samajwadi Party’s UP unit chief, replacing Shivpal Singh Yadav.
