NCP MP from Lakshadweep P P Mohammed Faizal has been disqualified from the Lok Sabha following his conviction in a case.
The MP along with three others were sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by Kavaratti Sessions Court in connection with an attempt to murder case of 2009. The Lok Sabha Secretariat has issued a notification regarding his disqualification.
