In Syria, a motorcycle bomber killed at least 16 people and injured 40 others, outside a bakery in northern city of Hasakeh, on the eve of the feast marking the end of Ramadan, an official said.
The attack occurred yesterday in the Kurdish-majority neighbourhood of Salihiah ahead of the Eid al-Fitr festival.
