Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan has reached Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In a tweet, Mr Muraleedharan said, the visit is significant as it comes immediately after his trip to Jeddah last week to oversee Operation Kaveri, to which Saudi Arabia has been extending outstanding support. Operation Kaveri is the mission launched by India to evacuate stranded Indians from the crisis-hit Sudan.
During his visit, he will meet Saudi Vice Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji and other dignitaries in Riyadh. The Minister will have an interactive session with the Indian community in Riyadh and also have separate engagements with various Indian diaspora organizations.
