In West Bengal, the IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in all the southern districts of the state, including Kolkata, tomorrow. The deep depression over Gangetic West Bengal will move westwards towards Jharkhand and northern Chhattisgarh in the next 48 hours. The deep depression is expected to become a depression over this period. Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been reported from all the districts of South Bengal today due to the presence of the deep depression over Gangetic West Bengal. In Kolkata and its suburbs, it has been raining incessantly since last night.
