Meghalaya today reported 22 new COVID-19 cases while 18 recoveries were also registered. A statement from the Directorate of Health Services informed that the new cases are from East Khasi Hill- 118, two each from West and East Jaintia Hills.
The new recoveries are all from East Khasi Hills district. Till date, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases stands at 13,482 out of which 13,204 are recovered, 139 active and 139 deaths. There are 17 containment zones across the state and the fatality rate stands at 1.03 percent.
