man ki baatPrime minister Narendra Modi today greeted people on Prophet Muhammad birth anniversary saying “ The festival of ‘Eid Milad un Nabi’ will help bringing peace and harmony in the society.

In his 38th edition of Mann Ki Baat programme on All India Radio today, Mr Modi said: “A few days later, the festival of ‘Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi’ will be celebrated. On this day the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sahib was born. I wish all the countrymen best wishes and I hope that the festival of Eid will give new inspiration to all of us, to give new energy and to make new resolutions to increase peace and harmony in the society”.

“कुछ दिन बाद ‘ईद-ए-मिलाद-उन-नबी’ का पर्व मनाया जाएगा। इस दिन पैगम्बर हज़रत मोहम्मद साहब का जन्म हुआ था। मैं सभी देशवासियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ देता हूँ और मुझे आशा है कि ईद का ये पर्व, समाज में शांति और सद्भावना को बढ़ाने के लिए हम सबको नयी प्रेरणा दे, नयी ऊर्जा दे, नया संकल्प करने का सामर्थ्य दे”।

PM also said not only India but all humanitarian forces should become more alert and cautious to eliminate terrorism and extremism.

The Prime Minister said, terrorism has threatened humanity across the globe and it is bent upon destroying the humanitarian forces.

Remembering the victims and security personnel who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, Mr Modi said, this country can never forget their sacrifice. He said, terrorism has taken an ugly shape and has become a global threat almost as a daily routine.
