West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today met Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi and discussed issues including Presidential election.
The meeting lasted about the 40 minutes in which Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was also present. Later taking to media Ms Banerjee said, discussion took place on important matters regarding politics.
She said, president election was also discussed but no discussion was on name. The West Bengal Chief Minister said, she will meet Ms Gandhi again next week or within 10 days to decide consensus on presidential candidate.
Reacting on raids on some political leaders, Ms Banerjee said, some political vendetta is going on and it was discussed in detail.
