The DNA test conducted on speech and hearing impaired girl, Geeta, has not matched with the DNA of the Mahato family. Confirming this, spokesperson in the External Affairs Ministry, Vikas Swarup said, the results of the test have been communicated to the family who had claimed to be her parents.
He said, photographs of some more such families have been sent to the girl who is presently staying in a special home at Indore in Madhya Pradesh. He said, she has not identified any of these families so far. Mr Swarup said External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will visit Indore on 23rd of this month to know about Geeta’s personal welfare.
Geeta is presently being imparted professional training so that she can become self dependent.
