3,717 new COVID-19 cases were reported today in Maharashtra. With this the tally of Corona cases reached 18,80,416. According to the State Health Department, 70 deaths were reported in the State today taking the tally of deceased to 48,209. Case fatality rate in the State is 2.56 per cent.
Health Department data also revealed that 3,083 patients were discharged today taking the tally of such patients to 17,57,005.
The current recovery rate in the State is 93.44 per cent. As on today, there are 74,104 active cases in the State.
Out of 1,17,02,457 laboratory samples, 18,80,416 have tested positive (16.07 per cent) for COVID-19 until today. Currently 5,12,587 people are in home quarantine and 4,403 people are in institutional quarantine.
