New Delhi– Madhya Pradesh Commerce and Industry Minsiter Yashodhara Raje Scindia inaugurated the Madhya Pradesh Day’s celebration at IITF 2015 at Pragati Maidan by lighting the lamp at M.P. Pavilion and said that when the whole world was passing through Economic slowdown our country though had definite impact but survived because of itself self-reliant Nature.
Some way Madhya Pradesh was also hardly affected by Economic slowdown. This was only because of the State’s Excellent Policies, Efficient Management and good administration. The Agriculture and Industrial growth rate was always double digit, she asserted.
Accompanied by Principal Secretary Commerce & Industry Mohammad Sulaiman and Commissioner Industries and MD of Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam S V.L. Kanta Rao, she visited various stalls.
Theme of this year’s fair is ‘Make in India’. In this context, ‘Make in India’ and ‘Make in Madhya Pradesh’ has been made theme of Madhya Pradesh Pavilion.
Fifteen departments from Govt. Sector and 21 from Private Sector participated in the Pavilion. This year in Govt. Sector Public Relations Department was decorated with the first prize for excellent display, publicity of Simhastha 2016 which is to be held at Ujjain. The prize was received by Sanjay Saksena, Joint Director, Information and Public Relations. Jury’s Special prize was given to M.P. State Tourism Development Corporation. Mamta Pandey of the Tourism Department received the award.
