In Ladakh, the Returning Officer for the Ladakh Lok Sabha Parliamentary election conducted an inspection visit to the Zanskar Sub Division. Accompanied by a team of officials, including SDM Zanskar and Tehsildar/AERO Zanskar. The RO examined various polling stations.
The inspection focused on assessing crucial facilities such as ramps, drinking water provisions, electricity connections, room dimensions, and separate restroom facilities.
Emphasizing the significance of voters’ convenience, the RO issued directives to ensure seamless facilitation for the electorate on Polling day. By prioritizing accessibility and comfort, this proactive approach aimed to eliminate any potential obstacles that may impede citizens’ exercise of their democratic rights.
