Union Minister of Road transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari refuted the charges against Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje and her son MP from Jhalawar-Baran Dushyant Singh at Jaipur today.
On the ongoing controversy regarding supporting immigration papers of former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi by Chief Minister, he said that allegation made by opposition are politically motivated and baseless. Mr Gadkari said the whole party is behind Vasundhra Raje.
Union Road transport and Highways minister Nitin Gadkari has said priority would be given to inland water ways system as it is cheaper than rail and road transport. While talking to media person in Jaipur today, the Minister said soon one hundred and one rivers would be utilized for transport of goods in the country.
He said along with Jaipur, ten other cities have been selected under Intelligent Traffic System scheme to bring down number of casualties in road accidents. Mr Gadkari said on lines of Airports, Bus-ports would be made, adding that three bus-ports have been approved for Rajasthan. He said to connect border areas in Rajasthan with national highways, 1500 kilometer roads would be made under Bharatmala Scheme.
