Telangana is all se to go for early poll, ahead of its elections due next year. Telangana state Cabinet in chairmanship of Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao early morning recommended the dissolution of the state Assembly.
After the brief cabinet meets, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao left for Raj Bhavan to meet Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan to convey the cabinet decision.

The cabinet meeting began at 1 p.m. at Pragati Bhavan, the Chief Minister’s official residence, and concluded in less than 30 minutes. The cabinet is believed to have passed a resolution recommending to Governor Narasimhan to dissolve the Assembly.
Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan has asked Chief Minister Chandrasekhar and the Council of Ministers to continue as caretaking Government. Earlier, he accepted the Cabinet resolution seeking dissolution of the Assembly.
