Karnataka today reported 952 new COVID positive cases and nine deaths. At the same time 1282 people recovered from the viral infection. The State has reported a positivity rate of 0.82 per cent and case fatality rate of 0.94 per cent. The health department bulletin has given details of the tests conducted on passengers who returned from the UK.
RT PCR tests were conducted on 63 such passengers today and out of them two were tested positive. Till date tests have been conducted for 2028 UK returned passengers and 33 among them were tested positive and 1887 were tested negative for the Coronavirus. The Health and Medical Education department in the State today issued an order to set up a Vision group headed by NIMHANS Director Dr G Gururaj to advise the Government on measures to be taken to improve health services in the State.
