Karnataka Lokayukta Justice Vishvanath Shetty was stabbed in his office in Bengaluru today.
Police have arrested the assailant Tejraj Sharma and rushed the Lokayukta to a private hospital.
The assailant had come to meet the Lokayukta to discuss his case when he attacked Justice Shetty. After visiting the Lokayukta in the hospital, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah told the media that Justice Shetty is out of danger.
BJP state President BS Yeddyurappa has sought stringent action against the accused and wished for early recovery of Lokayukta.
