Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh RK Mathur assured that Kargil will get equal opportunities in the newly formed Union Territory Ladakh.
On the second day of Kargil visit, speaking exclusively to All India Radio, LG RK Mathur allayed fears of any discrimination towards Kargil.
Talking about the employment and educational opportunities for the youths of Ladakh, LG said that UT will take care to safeguard the future of the youth in the region.
Refereeing to the scope of nearly 35000 Mega Watts Power generation capacity from Solar energy in Ladakh, he assured that soon he will look for more and more investment in this sector. He said he was in touch with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and Solar Energy Corporation of India.
