Out Of Jail, Kanhaiya Kumar SAYS “We don’t want freedom from India but Freedom within India”

Government today said that Jawaharlal Nehru Students’ Union President Kanhaiya Kumar would be provided adequate security following threat to his life. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told Rajya Sabha that, security will be provided to Kanhaiya Kumar, in the wake of threats to his life.

Minister told agitating opposition members, that the investigating agency will also probe the role of certain media organisations in airing interpolated video of the controversial speech of Kanhaiya Kumar.

Kumar was arrested for sedition and criminal conspiracy by Delhi Police for allegedly raising anti-national slogans on the basis of these video aired by certain channels, but granted interim bail by the Delhi High Court.
